What’s In Your Water?
Ever since we were little we have always been told “make sure you drink plenty of water to stay healthy and hydrated!” or “make sure you drink 8 glasses of water each day as part of your routine!”. Now these statements are without a doubt true in their sense, that yes we need ample amounts of water in order to remain hydrated to carry out our everyday lives.
However this is where a problem begins to arise, because it’s not a question of how much water we should be consuming each day, but what kind of water we should be consuming! Now most of you are probably wondering, “what do you mean what kind of water? Isn’t all water the same?” Through advertisements, water bottle companies, sports drinks and more we have been tailored to think that water is water as it is and it affects the body the same way for every single person. Sadly, that statement does not hold true because most water out there, in fact almost all water sources out there are causing more harm than good in our bodies!
